Golding further noted, "We're dedicated to addressing hazards in the workplace. Our strategy is to continue viewing electrical safety as a central focus. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E Future Directions Task Group Recommendations Distributed at IEEE IAS Electrical Safety Workshop in Denver, CO

The NFPA 70E Future Directions Task Group Recommendations were originally released April, 2004. At the recent IEEE IAS Workshop held in Denver, CO, February 7-10, 2005, attendees received electronic copies of the Task Group's work. This distribution was especially timely given the NFPA's announcement at the workshop of the official deadlines for proposal revisions to the NFPA 70E and NFPA 70, the National Electric Code.

Presentations From Successful NOIRS 2003 Held in Pittsburgh Now Available Online

On October 28, 29, and 30, 2003, many of the foremost researchers in occupational injury convened in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel to present their latest findings and methods at the Third National Occupational Injury Research Symposium (NOIRS 2003). The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), in association with its private and public partners, hosted NOIRS 2003 to provide a forum for researchers to share their work with others.
